What a Question: What does the world see when they look at us? Man, I sure hope they see an army of volunteers rising out of all the churches but especially from GUTS Church to help everyone we can. I hope they look upon a sea of Red Team Relief shirts as we serve our neighbors with simple acts of kindness through Servolution. I hope they become curious to know why we would be so willing to give up our “personal time.” I hope they can see the love of Jesus reflected in our eyes.
ReplyDeleteSo many tangents I could run with for this question! What comes to my mind is "the Love of Christ". When the world looks at me, I hope they see love through my actions. Servolution is an outward expression, to an inward heart change. I hope it's tangible enough for the world to grab onto! Servolution isn't a new concept. Valiant, dedicated men & women of God have been 'doers of the Word' since Jesus commanded us to Go! Let's run with this until the end...
